Michele Palazzi was born in Rome in 1984. After gaining a three years master in Photography at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia, he started working as a professional photographer focusing on ethnic minorities, from the Dalit catholic indian community to the Roma people living in Italy. He also developed a project on the aftermath of the earthquake in Abruzzo. In 2009 he recived the Enzo Baldoni collective prize. Now he's focusing on a long term project about the migrant workers in Italy, recipient of the Project Launch Award 2011 of Center Santa Fe. He lives in Rome and he is syndicated by Prospekt photographers. |
